The September/October issue of Detroit-based Ambassador Magazine is now out on the shelves, and pages 106 -109 of this particular issue features one of the finest luxury custom estates Dominick Tringali Architects has ever designed.
Located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, this project began with an 8,500 square foot existing spec home designed by Dominick Tringali Architects. The homeowner purchased the original home, as well as the adjacent site next to it, and then commissioned Dominick Tringali Architects to begin designing a 5,500 square foot addition on the existing property. The design challenge was to blend the two projects into one cohesive, final residence.
The final project is a 14,000 square foot European-style estate, designed in a U-shape around a large outdoor courtyard which features a built in pool, a negative edge spa, and outdoor dining and seating areas. The home also features a large motor court, and two guest cabanas. It was designed to be so well equipped that the homeowner wouldn’t need to leave, and offers all components for everyday casual living, and entertaining family and friends.
