The Dominick Tringali Architects team is nationally renowned for its ability to create exceptional, timeless architecture. This time, our design abilities are being put to the test on an exciting, new international project. We are working on a renovation of an existing estate for one of the wealthiest textile moguls in Thailand. Our design team is adding on a 15,000 square foot ballroom to this residence, along with a formal, traditional Chinese dining area. We are renovating bathrooms and various living spaces within the home to make it more suitable for entertaining ambassadors, dignitaries, and various government officials, for which the homeowner frequently hosts events in his home. The entire family is quite philanthropic as well, hosting several large benefit events per year for charity organizations.
We are working on this project in conjunction with the talented group at Marc Michaels Interior Design, based out of Winter Park, Florida. Marc Michaels is consistently ranked one of the top 100 Interior Design firms in the world, by Interior Design Magazine. We are working exclusive with Marc Michaels on the architectural aspects of the project, and possibly some of their upcoming projects in the Middle East as well.
Dominick Tringali Architects is excited to add these projects to our growing list of international experience. We look forward to upcoming joint ventures with Marc Michaels and bringing our signature DTA flair and design ability to the International market.

DTA Custom Residence Featured in Septembter Issue of Residential Design & Build Magazine
Inside the September issue of Residential Design & Build, a story called “Tight Fit, Creative Solution” features a cutting edge, sustainable, custom home designed by Dominick Tringali Architects.
Located in Birmingham, Michigan, the design concept included creating a very cutting edge custom home, while blending it in with the existing neighboring residences in an older, very traditional neighborhood. The exterior style is English Tudor with a bit of an Eclectic flair. Inside, the home is innovative, sustainable, and perfectly designed for today’s modern family.
This project was originally created as a show home, in a partnership with a local high-end mall. Proceeds from public tours through the home went toward a charity. The overall goal was to show the public, especially those who may be on the fence about building a home, the benefits of building a new home with creativity, sustainability, and efficiency.

DTA Published in Ambassador Magazine!
The September/October issue of Detroit-based Ambassador Magazine is now out on the shelves, and pages 106 -109 of this particular issue features one of the finest luxury custom estates Dominick Tringali Architects has ever designed.
Located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, this project began with an 8,500 square foot existing spec home designed by Dominick Tringali Architects. The homeowner purchased the original home, as well as the adjacent site next to it, and then commissioned Dominick Tringali Architects to begin designing a 5,500 square foot addition on the existing property. The design challenge was to blend the two projects into one cohesive, final residence.
The final project is a 14,000 square foot European-style estate, designed in a U-shape around a large outdoor courtyard which features a built in pool, a negative edge spa, and outdoor dining and seating areas. The home also features a large motor court, and two guest cabanas. It was designed to be so well equipped that the homeowner wouldn’t need to leave, and offers all components for everyday casual living, and entertaining family and friends.
Additional information about the home and interior and exterior images of the residence can be viewed in the Ambassador Magazine story, or by visiting the 'Published Articles' section of our website at The September/October issue of Detroit-based Ambassador Magazine is now out on the shelves, and pages 106 -109 of this particular issue features one of the finest luxury custom estates Dominick Tringali Architects has ever designed.
