Inside the September issue of Residential Design & Build, a story called “Tight Fit, Creative Solution” features a cutting edge, sustainable, custom home designed by Dominick Tringali Architects.
Located in Birmingham, Michigan, the design concept included creating a very cutting edge custom home, while blending it in with the existing neighboring residences in an older, very traditional neighborhood. The exterior style is English Tudor with a bit of an Eclectic flair. Inside, the home is innovative, sustainable, and perfectly designed for today’s modern family.
This project was originally created as a show home, in a partnership with a local high-end mall. Proceeds from public tours through the home went toward a charity. The overall goal was to show the public, especially those who may be on the fence about building a home, the benefits of building a new home with creativity, sustainability, and efficiency.
