DTA PARTNERS WITH DOW CHEMICAL AT THE 2009 INTERNATIONAL BUILDERS SHOW

Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, January 2, 2009 – Dominick Tringali Architects is pleased to announce our partnership with DOW Chemical Company at the 2009 International Builders Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This partnership, in addition to our educational programs through the NAHB University of Housing, as well as our continued participation at the AIA Plan Review Workshop, demonstrates our commitment to helping builders understand the value of good design in this difficult economy.

Dominick Tringali, president and CEO of Dominick Tringali Architects, was invited to be a guest presenter at the DOW Educational Theater on the show floor. Dominick will present at the DOW Theater three times during the week of the Builders Show on the topic of ‘Mainstream Green Home Design.’

In addition to our collaboration with DOW Chemical, Dominick Tringali will also be speaking about “Achievable Million Dollar Details’ through the NAHB University of Housing. This program will be given twice during the week of the Builders Show and will illustrate simple ways to achieve the look and feel of a high-end product line at a much more affordable price.

J.R. Ruthig, the firm’s Managing Designer, will be also presenting at the Builders Show. His program, titled ‘Boost Your Marketing Mojo – Winning Designs for Generations X and Y’ will be geared toward educating builders about design trends and lifestyles of this rapidly growing market segment.

Both Dominick and J.R. have volunteered their time and talent to the A.I.A. Plan Review Workshop at the Builders Show. They will each be available for complimentary plan review sessions during the week of the show. Builders can take advantage of this excellent service and have their existing plans and elevations reviewed by nationally renowned architects.

Lastly, we are very excited to announce that six of DTA’s projects will be receiving Best in American Living Awards this year at the annual awards event at the Builders Show. Some of these awards include Best Community Under 150 Units, Best Specialty Room, Best Detail, and Best Semi Custom Home Under 1,800 Sq. Ft., as well as in the over 4,001 Sq. Ft. category.
